- the sharing of resources and ideas (many of my 'Ideas a Day' I learned about first on Twitter!!)

- setting up collaborations using google docs or web 2.0 tools such as wallwisher

- to post homework, reminders of tests, special days, etc.
- to provide a forum to practice writing in French
