Suggestions for using Toy Theatre:
- choose one of the tabs (Art, Math, Games, etc.) and let your students explore and share their favorite activity - create a criteria list for recommending activities - keep track on a chart, in a Google Doc or Spreadsheet, on your whiteboard or SmartBoard
- go to ART > Stop Motion Animation - this is a real favorite - it's just like old-fashioned stop-frame animation (Note: you can't save these - good to let kids know this ahead of time, so they won't be disappointed - don't let this dissuade you from trying it though - have the kids create an animation, then do a 'gallery walk' around the lab to see what everyone else has created)
- the PUZZLES and GAMES tabs have great critical thinking challenges
- share your favorites in the blog area of the 'Idea a Day' website!
